Long Time No Blog!

Hello faithful readers.  It's been a while since I've taken time to post.  Maybe because I'm not feeling so well. Must have something to do with Little-Kowalewski-On-The-Way.  That's right!  If you haven't heard, we are almost 3 months pregnant.  (Well, Tim's not technically pregnant.)

Haven't been doing much; have been consigned to the couch most of the day.  "Morning sickness" is indeed a misnomer!

We did manage to go out to Hershey, PA for my NET teammate's wedding in July.  It was a very joyful event - always so wonderful to see those dear friends.  And I felt miraculously well.  I really think it was an answer to prayer, considering how sick I was before and after the trip.

At the reception, there was a photobooth set up and my teammates and I got to have a flashback to the skits we did on NET.  As our year on the road went on, we got crazier and crazier during our opening skit.  Sometimes the young people just looked shocked and dazed, but we didn't care.  We were pretty funny.  It's clearly still in our blood.

Tim fits in pretty well!

Hershey has fun things to do, like "Chocolate World"  (didn't go there), Joe and Bridget's wedding (definitely went to that) Hershey Park - here's Tim and I after one of the few rides I was allowed to go on.

Carousels forever!  And a pretty cool cave Tim and I toured.

Back to Minnesota - I will end with a picture of what our window boxes look like now.  I got stuff in there in June, and it has paid off.  Um...I didn't expect the zinnias to be quite so tall, however.

Peace to you all.

  1. Wow! Congratulations! I'm so excited for you -- all three of you! I admit that I didn't read your whole post because once I read the part about the pregnancy I just had to immediately comment! Morning sickness stinks. When I had (awful) morning sickness with Hannah, Maura Uhlenkott told me she thought morning sickness was worse than labor, which was oddly comforting. Hopefully it will be oddly comforting to you, too. :) I'm just so delighted for you! Many congratulations from the Bernsteins! We'll be praying for you!
